New Color Option UNLOCKED! "The Steam Punk"
"The Steam Punk" Unlocked
The Steam Punk (Copper and Copper) color option for the Hobby Holder is now unlocked! The Copper Handle and Copper Base open up a lot of very cool color combos. You can opt to receive the The Steam Punk combination instead of or with the other unlocked color options depending on how many you have pledged for.
These will also be added as base (Copper) and handle (Copper) colors to the add-on section.

Hello friends!
Just two weeks ago I wrote how we were closing in on 1000 backers... now we are closing in on 2000! We are in the top 10 most backed live tabletop games right now. We are the most backed AND most funded project ever in my city! What happened to that mid campaign slump? Going in to this campaign I had read all the articles, made all my plans and yet every day there are new surprises. While I miss full night sleeps, I am having so much fun with all of you! Let's keep the excitement going :D
Tripod Mount Plan and STL UNLOCKED!
All backers at The Hobbyist level and above will now receive hobby/home improvement store plans to build and an STL file to print a Tripod Mount that will attach to the bottom of The Hobby Holder! The Hobby Holder can still be rotated 360 degrees and held while having constant support from the tripod.

Lucky Emissary Update
This guy is a blast to build and paint! The detail on the Malifaux 2e models are fantastic. I mean look at these hands :O

That said, I am planning on having the video up Saturday at the latest as I have been caught up getting vendors in order and orders to vendors. So look out for that!
Our oldest was repeating me when I was talking about The Hobby Holder, so I thought I would try something :P

Thank you so much for getting The Hobby Holder to where it is as we go in to our final week! Some exciting news...
Production Samples in the Works!
The upgraded injection molds were approved and placed into production! I should be receiving the production samples on Nov. 10th, so there will be plenty of time to check them out before locking in. Upgrading the molds only took off a few days from the buffer I had planned for, so we are still ahead of schedule! This will allow me to make any changes if needed and still keep us on track for our ship date. :D

Bottle Cap Type Selected
This might not seem that exciting, but it is nice to have things checked off the list. I have selected the cap that will be included in all of the pledge levels via the Hit the Ground Running stretch goals as well as being purchasable as add-ons. This was the one I was hoping would work because it features a slightly indented, textured top with a divot in the middle. This will help a lot when using sticky tack as the surface will grip better than the glossy ones. It also has nice small ridges that don't stick out too far while still providing good grip.
Provided in all applicable pledge levels and as add-ons

62K Stretch Goal - Tripod Mount Plan and STL File
When the next stretch goal is reached all backers at The Hobbyist level and above will receive hobby/home improvement store plans and an STL file to create a tripod mount that will attach to the bottom of The Hobby Holder. I have been testing this with a 4" travel tripod and I really like the results. The Hobby Holder can still be rotated 360 degrees and held while having constant support from the tripod.

Future Stretch Goals
I wanted to give you a quick overview of the upcoming stretch goals. I am commissioning custom The Order of the Miniature artwork that backers will receive in a fun way. We have one more color unlock to bring us up to 7 Handle and 7 Base options. And finally one I will keep a secret for now, but it will run until the end of the campaign :D

Hello friends,
What an awesome weekend! I have again been blown away by the amazing support that is being shown for The Hobby Holder. You would think by now my astonishment would have worn off, but NOPE! Thank you all :D
With this unlocked, the injection molds will be held to a higher standard, producing better parts, and best of all, be guaranteed for life! Samples of the first pieces out of a mold are kept with the molds in storage. When new parts come out they are compared to the original samples, and if there is a significant drop in quality a new mold will be cut!
This means that Hobby Holders will be able to be produced to their highest quality in the future in case you need a new one or your friends have to get one because they saw you using it. ;)
I am looking in to an option for the next goal and will send out an update tomorrow!
I am considering making an entire reel of these >.<

Hope everyone had a good week!
It seems like you all are excited about the upgraded molds we are getting close to being able to move forward with. We had a little dip in participation at the beginning of the week, but we are still going strong in to the final week!I never imagined we would be where we are with a whole week left :)
BackerKit Staff Favorite
Yesterday we had a nice little spike thanks to some cool news that The Hobby Holder was selected as a BackerKit Staff Favorite. Welcome everyone who made their way here through that!
Pledge Manager Selected
Completely unrelated, I had a great phone call with BackerKit and have moved forward with using them for the post-campaign pledge management. Now that we are getting into some complex choices as well as add-ons, things will go a lot smoother and it will be a good fit. I have enjoyed their system as a backer on several occasions as I am sure some of you have as well. I will have more information on this as we get closer to the campaign and I have had a chance to set everything up.
Painting...
I am in the process of building and painting the Lucky Emissary, and it is looking like it will be a fun one to paint. Here is the pile of parts before I removed the mold lines.
I am detailing the inside of the wheel before fully assembling.
That is everything for now! I am sure I will be sending out an UNLOCKED update tomorrow :D
